Burrata with Roasted Plums, Pistachios & Thyme – A Sweet-Savory Sensation

Burrata with roasted plums, pistachios, and thyme is an exquisite dish that celebrates the flavours of late summer with its creamy texture, sweet and tangy fruits, and nutty crunch.

INGREDIENTS

1 large burrata ball (or 2 small)
4–5 ripe plums, halved and pitted
¼ cup pistachios, chopped
2–3 sprigs fresh thyme (leaves only)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Sea salt to finish
Cracked black pepper to taste

METHOD

Preheat oven to 200°C

Place halved plums on a lined baking sheet, cut-side up.

Drizzle with olive oil and honey (if using).

Roast plums for 20–25 minutes until caramelized.

Let plums cool slightly while you prepare the plate.

Place burrata in the center of your serving dish.

Arrange warm roasted plums around the burrata.

Top with chopped pistachios and fresh thyme.

Drizzle olive oil and finish with sea salt.

Serve immediately with toasted bread or crackers.
